About This Policy

This Practitioner Empanelment & Service Policy ('Policy') governs the registration, conduct, obligations, and rights of all doctors and healthcare practitioners ('Practitioners') who offer online consultation services through homeoconsulting.com. By completing the registration process and activating your account, you unconditionally accept all terms set out in this Policy. This is a legally binding agreement between you and homeoconsulting.com.


1. Definitions & Scope

For the purposes of this Policy:

  • "Platform" refers to homeoconsulting.com and all associated web and mobile applications.
  • "Practitioner" refers to any registered doctor or healthcare professional on the platform, including Homeopathic Doctors, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, and Dieticians/Nutritionists. All such professionals are treated uniformly as 'Doctors' on this platform.
  • "Patient" refers to any individual who books and avails a consultation through the platform.
  • "Consultation" refers to any session conducted via the platform between a Practitioner and a Patient.
  • "Platform Fee" refers to the empanelment and service fee payable by the Practitioner to homeoconsulting.com.
  • "Earnings" refers to consultation fees collected from Patients and credited to the Practitioner after adjustment of the Platform Fee.

2. Eligibility & Registration

2.1 Who Can Register

homeoconsulting.com welcomes qualified practitioners from the following disciplines. All disciplines are given equal standing on the platform:

2.2 Registration Requirements

To complete Practitioner registration, the following documents must be submitted through the platform portal:

  • Valid government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence)
  • Degree/Diploma certificate(s) from a recognised institution
  • Valid professional registration certificate from the relevant regulatory body
  • Proof of specialisation or post-graduate qualification (if applicable)
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Active bank account details for earnings credit (cancelled cheque or bank passbook copy)
  • PAN card (mandatory for tax compliance under Indian law)

homeoconsulting.com reserves the sole right to approve or reject any registration application, to request additional documents, and to re-verify credentials at any time. Approval of registration does not constitute an employment or agency relationship.


3. Platform Fees & Earnings

homeoconsulting.com is a genuine work-from-home earning opportunity for qualified healthcare professionals across India. You set your expertise, we connect you with patients. The platform handles bookings, payments, and scheduling — you focus entirely on delivering quality consultations.

3.1 Platform Empanelment Fee

A one-time Platform Empanelment Fee is charged as follows:

3.2 Fee Adjustment — No Money Goes to the Platform from Your Pocket

How the Adjustment Works

The ₹15,000 Platform Empanelment Fee is not an upfront cash loss. It is progressively adjusted against the consultation fees collected from your patients and credited to your account. This means the platform recovers its fee only from your actual earnings — you do not pay separately from your own funds once the adjustment process begins. The exact adjustment rate and schedule will be communicated at the time of account activation.

  • The Platform Fee (₹15,000) is deducted in instalments from your consultation earnings over time, as per the schedule defined by homeoconsulting.com.
  • Until the full Platform Fee is recovered through earnings, a portion of each consultation payment will be adjusted and retained by the platform.
  • Once the full ₹15,000 is recovered, 100% of your applicable consultation earnings (after applicable taxes/deductions) will be credited to your registered bank account.
  • homeoconsulting.com reserves the right to revise the adjustment rate and schedule with reasonable notice.
  • The Platform Fee is non-refundable once the account is activated, regardless of the number of consultations conducted.

3.3 Consultation Charges & Earnings

Consultation charges displayed to patients are set in consultation with the platform. Practitioners acknowledge that:

  • Charges are displayed in INR on the patient login/booking page and may vary based on service type, session duration, and platform pricing policy.
  • homeoconsulting.com reserves the right to revise consultation charges at any time. Practitioners will be notified of material changes.
  • Earnings will be credited to the Practitioner's registered bank account on a periodic basis (weekly/fortnightly/monthly) as communicated by the platform.
  • TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and other statutory deductions will be applied as per Indian Income Tax law. Practitioners are responsible for their own tax filings.
  • homeoconsulting.com shall not be liable for earnings lost due to patient cancellations, no-shows, or technical failures outside the platform's control.

4. Technical Requirements

homeoconsulting.com's dedicated mobile application is currently under development and will be launched soon. Until then, all consultations are conducted via the web-based platform. To deliver a professional, seamless experience for your patients, you must meet the following minimum technical standards.

4.1 Mandatory Technical Setup

Failure to maintain adequate technical standards that results in poor patient experience may lead to a poor rating, reduced patient allocation, or suspension of your account. homeoconsulting.com bears no liability for patient dissatisfaction arising from the Practitioner's technical inadequacy.


5. Code of Conduct & Professional Standards

5.1 Professional Behaviour

All Practitioners are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct at all times. This includes:

  • Conducting consultations with due care, diligence, and clinical integrity
  • Being punctual and available for all confirmed appointments
  • Maintaining appropriate professional attire and a clean, professional background during video consultations
  • Communicating with patients in a respectful, empathetic, and clear manner
  • Providing recommendations within your qualified scope of practice only — never advising outside your discipline
  • Documenting case notes and recommendations accurately and sharing them through the platform portal within the stipulated time
  • Treating all patients equally, without discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, age, or socioeconomic status

5.2 Maintaining Patient Confidentiality

  • All patient information accessed through the platform is strictly confidential.
  • Practitioners shall not share, disclose, discuss, or use patient data for any purpose other than delivering the consultation.
  • Breach of patient confidentiality is a serious violation and will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all pending earnings, and may attract legal action under applicable Indian law.

6. Prohibition on Off-Platform Communication

⚠ STRICT PROHIBITION — Sharing Contact Details is a Terminable Offence

Practitioners are absolutely prohibited from sharing, soliciting, or exchanging any personal contact information — including mobile numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, social media handles, clinic addresses, or any other communication channel — with patients directly. All communication must take place exclusively through the homeoconsulting.com platform and its official tools.

6.1 Prohibited Actions

  • Sharing your personal mobile number, WhatsApp, Telegram, or any messaging app ID with patients
  • Sharing your personal or clinic email address with patients
  • Sharing your clinic address, home address, or any physical location details
  • Sharing social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) with patients for the purpose of continuing consultations
  • Soliciting or accepting direct payments from patients outside the platform
  • Advising patients to contact you through any channel other than homeoconsulting.com
  • Encouraging patients to book future appointments directly, bypassing the platform

6.2 Consequences of Violation

⚠ Penalty for Off-Platform Communication

Any Practitioner found sharing personal contact details or engaging in off-platform communication with patients will face: (1) Immediate and permanent termination of their account without any prior notice; (2) Forfeiture of all pending earnings and any unadjusted Platform Fee — no amount will be refunded or paid; (3) Legal action under applicable Indian law, including civil and criminal proceedings for breach of contract; (4) Reporting to the relevant professional regulatory body (CCH, RCI, IAP, IDA) for disciplinary action. homeoconsulting.com's determination of a violation shall be final and binding.

homeoconsulting.com actively monitors platform activity and patient feedback. Any patient complaint regarding off-platform solicitation will be treated as prima facie evidence and investigated accordingly.


7. Platform Rules & Compliance

7.1 Platform Rules

All Practitioners must at all times comply with the following platform rules:

  • Maintain an updated and accurate profile — qualifications, photo, experience, and specialisations must be truthful and current
  • Respond to patient bookings and messages within the timeframes specified by the platform
  • Attend all confirmed appointments; cancellations must be notified to the platform at least 4 hours in advance
  • Submit post-consultation notes and remedy/treatment recommendations through the patient portal within 24 hours of the session
  • Participate in platform training, onboarding, and quality assurance programmes as required
  • Not promote any external service, product, clinic, or competitive platform during or after consultations
  • Not engage in any activity that brings the platform into disrepute

7.2 Compliance with Indian Law & Regulations

All Practitioners must independently comply with all applicable Indian laws, regulations, and professional codes, including but not limited to:

  • The Indian Medical Degrees Act, 1916 and applicable State Medical Council regulations
  • The Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (for Homeopathic Doctors)
  • The Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 (for Clinical Psychologists)
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008
  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — Practitioners must handle patient data lawfully
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — Practitioners are accountable for service quality
  • The Income Tax Act, 1961 — TDS compliance, ITR filing, and GST registration (if applicable) are the Practitioner's personal responsibility
  • The Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 issued by the Board of Governors of MCI (as applicable to respective disciplines)
  • All applicable professional ethics codes issued by CCH, RCI, IAP, and IDA respectively

homeoconsulting.com is not responsible for any regulatory non-compliance on the part of the Practitioner. Any penalty, action, or liability arising from the Practitioner's non-compliance with applicable law shall be borne entirely by the Practitioner.


8. Quality Standards & Performance

8.1 Patient Ratings & Reviews

  • Patients may rate and review consultations on the platform. These ratings directly affect your visibility and patient allocation on the platform.
  • Practitioners are expected to maintain a minimum average rating as communicated by homeoconsulting.com. Sustained low ratings may result in reduced visibility, temporary suspension, or account termination.
  • Practitioners must not solicit, manipulate, or incentivise patient reviews in any manner.

8.2 Continuing Professional Development

  • Practitioners are encouraged to keep their qualifications, skills, and knowledge current.
  • homeoconsulting.com may conduct periodic credential re-verification. Practitioners must cooperate fully and provide updated documents on request.
  • Failure to provide updated credentials upon request may result in temporary suspension until verification is complete.

9. Intellectual Property & Data

  • All content created on or for the platform — including consultation notes, promotional profiles, and session templates — may be used by homeoconsulting.com for quality assurance and platform improvement purposes.
  • Practitioners shall not copy, reproduce, or distribute any platform content, patient data, or proprietary tools without written consent from homeoconsulting.com.
  • The homeoconsulting.com brand, logo, and platform materials are the exclusive intellectual property of the platform and may not be used by Practitioners for personal marketing without prior written approval.

10. Suspension, Termination & Penalties

10.1 Grounds for Suspension or Termination

homeoconsulting.com reserves the sole and absolute right to suspend or permanently terminate a Practitioner's account, with or without prior notice, on any of the following grounds:

  • Sharing personal contact details with patients (see Section 6)
  • Misrepresentation of qualifications, experience, or credentials
  • Breach of patient confidentiality
  • Repeated no-shows or failure to honour confirmed appointments
  • Conducting consultations outside the registered discipline
  • Sustained poor patient ratings or multiple verified complaints
  • Violation of any platform rule, Indian law, or professional regulation
  • Bringing the platform into disrepute through public statements or actions
  • Any conduct deemed harmful to patients or the platform

10.2 Financial Consequences of Termination

⚠ Forfeiture of Earnings & Legal Action

Upon termination for a policy violation: (1) All pending earnings will be forfeited — no amount will be paid to the terminated Practitioner; (2) The unadjusted Platform Fee balance (if any) will not be refunded; (3) homeoconsulting.com reserves the right to initiate civil and/or criminal legal proceedings for breach of contract, misrepresentation, or any offence under applicable Indian law; (4) The Practitioner will bear all legal costs and damages arising from such proceedings. homeoconsulting.com's decision on termination and related financial matters is final, conclusive, and binding.


11. Disclaimer, No Partnership & Limitation of Liability

homeoconsulting.com does not offer any partnership, association, joint venture, or agency arrangement of any kind to any doctor or practitioner. Empanelment on the platform does not create any partnership, employment relationship, or affiliation with homeoconsulting.com. The platform is a neutral technology intermediary only.

11.1 Nature of the Platform

  • homeoconsulting.com is an online technology platform connecting independent Practitioners with Patients. It is not a medical institution, hospital, clinic, healthcare provider, employer, or business partner.
  • The platform does not co-own, co-manage, or co-operate any medical practice. Practitioners operate entirely as independent professionals.
  • homeoconsulting.com does not hold any medical, clinical, or professional licence on behalf of any Practitioner. Each Practitioner is solely responsible for maintaining their own valid professional registration and complying with all applicable laws.

11.2 No Guarantee of Business or Earnings

  • homeoconsulting.com makes no representation, promise, or guarantee — express or implied — regarding the number of patients a Practitioner will receive, the frequency of bookings, or the level of income that will be earned.
  • Consultations are initiated only when a patient independently chooses and books a session with the Practitioner through the platform. The platform does not assign or guarantee patient appointments.
  • Earning potential depends entirely on patient demand, platform activity, profile quality, ratings, and the Practitioner's availability and performance. The platform bears no responsibility for low bookings or income.
  • Any income figures or earning examples shared during onboarding or marketing communications are illustrative only and do not constitute a guarantee or commitment of similar earnings.

11.3 Medical & Clinical Liability

⚠ Practitioners Bear Full & Sole Responsibility for Clinical Decisions

Any medicine, remedy, treatment protocol, dietary plan, exercise regimen, or psychological advice prescribed or recommended by a Practitioner during a consultation is entirely and solely the responsibility of that Practitioner. homeoconsulting.com has no role in clinical decision-making and bears absolutely no liability whatsoever for any prescription, advice, treatment outcome, adverse reaction, patient harm, or any consequence arising from the Practitioner's consultation or recommendations.

  • The Practitioner alone is responsible for the accuracy, safety, appropriateness, and legality of every prescription, remedy, advice, or recommendation they make.
  • homeoconsulting.com does not review, approve, supervise, or validate any clinical decision made by a Practitioner during or after a consultation.
  • Any patient claim, complaint, legal action, or regulatory action arising from a Practitioner's prescription or advice shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of that Practitioner.
  • Practitioners must carry their own professional indemnity insurance where required by their discipline or applicable law. homeoconsulting.com does not provide any professional indemnity cover to Practitioners.
  • If a patient suffers any harm, side effect, or adverse outcome due to a remedy, medication, dietary advice, exercise prescription, or psychological intervention recommended by the Practitioner, homeoconsulting.com shall not be named as a party to any legal, consumer, or regulatory proceeding related to such harm.

11.4 Platform Liability Limits

  • homeoconsulting.com is not liable for any clinical outcome, patient dissatisfaction, professional dispute, consumer complaint, or regulatory action arising from a Practitioner's consultation.
  • The platform is not liable for internet outages, technical failures on the Practitioner's end, or disruptions due to force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or pandemics.
  • The platform's maximum liability to any Practitioner in any dispute shall not exceed the total platform fees actually paid by that Practitioner during the relevant period.
  • Practitioners unconditionally indemnify and hold harmless homeoconsulting.com, its directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim, loss, damage, fine, penalty, or legal cost arising from the Practitioner's actions, omissions, prescriptions, advice, or failure to comply with applicable law.

11.5 Work-from-Home Nature of Service

  • This platform is designed exclusively as a work-from-home professional service opportunity for qualified healthcare practitioners. It is not an in-person practice setup and does not involve any physical infrastructure, clinic, or facility provided by homeoconsulting.com.
  • Practitioners are responsible for arranging their own suitable, private, and professional workspace for conducting consultations.
  • homeoconsulting.com is not responsible for any workplace-related liabilities, incidents, or obligations arising at the Practitioner's home or personal workspace.

12. Amendments & Governing Law

homeoconsulting.com reserves the sole right to amend, update, or replace this Policy at any time. Amended policies will be posted on the Practitioner portal and shall be binding upon all registered Practitioners from the date of posting. Continued use of the platform after any amendment constitutes unconditional acceptance.

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Policy, the Platform Fee, or the Practitioner's use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India. The Practitioner waives any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

Practitioner Declaration & Agreement

I, the undersigned Practitioner, confirm that:

  • I have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to this Practitioner Empanelment & Service Policy in its entirety.
  • All information and documents submitted during registration are true, accurate, and complete. I understand that misrepresentation is grounds for immediate termination.
  • I understand and accept the Platform Fee of ₹15,000 for a 3-year validity period and the adjustment mechanism against consultation earnings.
  • I will never share personal contact details with patients and understand that doing so will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all earnings, and potential legal action.
  • I will maintain the technical requirements necessary for quality patient consultations.
  • I will comply with all applicable Indian laws, professional regulations, and platform rules at all times.
  • I accept the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts for any dispute arising from this agreement.
  • I acknowledge and agree that homeoconsulting.com does not offer any partnership, joint venture, or business association of any kind. My empanelment is solely as an independent practitioner offering services through the platform.
  • I understand that homeoconsulting.com makes no guarantee of patient bookings, earnings, or business outcomes. Consultations begin only when a patient independently books a session with me.
  • I acknowledge that I bear sole and complete responsibility for every prescription, remedy, treatment, dietary plan, exercise protocol, and clinical recommendation I make during consultations. homeoconsulting.com has no clinical role and bears no liability whatsoever for my professional decisions or their outcomes.
  • I agree to carry appropriate professional indemnity insurance as required by my discipline and applicable Indian law.
